Startup Global Program

Startup Global Program aims to bridge international startups from all over the world with top-tier Taiwanese companies that are key players in the global supply chain. The application is open for startups (Stage: Seed – Series B) in AI & Data Analysis, IoT & Smart Devices, Digital Health, CarTech, 5G Technology, Robotics, Smart Energy, E-Mobility, etc.

Since 2015, SGP has invited 284 startups to discover business opportunities to explore the global market and scale-up ventures. Over 1/3 of the fellow startups had obtained business partners, investments, or set up Taiwan branches through Epoch Foundation’s solid connections. We welcome tech-based startups to join us and scale up your business in the region!

FAQ

Q1. How often does Garage+ organize the Startup Global Program?
Garage+ will organize 2 batches per year. The first batch will take place from late May to early June along with COMPUTEX, and the second batch will be in early December.
Q2. When is the application period?
The application has already begun and will be open until September 8, 2025.
Q3. When does this 8-day program take place?
The program will take place in December 6 to December 13.
Q4. What will happen during these 8 days?
The selected startups will benefit from:
● 1-on-1 meetings with top-level decision-makers from key players in the global supply chain;
● Exclusive meetups with potential business/ venture partners;
● Computex /Garage+ Open House Exhibition.
Q5. What does the follow-up facilitation consist of?
After the 8-day program, if the startups want to stay in Taiwan and follow up with potential partners, Garage+ will provide the following services as below:
● 3-month working space
● Assistance in entrepreneur visa and company registration
● Talent recruiting
● Connection with mentors and industrial resources
Q6. How many members of each team can attend?
Receive airfare and accommodation subsidies for 2 people to come to Taiwan.
Q7. Can individuals apply for the program?
As long as your company is from seed to series B, we welcome you to apply.
Q8. I would like to apply but I’m concerned about sharing confidential information.
Regarding any confidential issues, all judges from the review committee have to sign the NDA for the Startup Global Program. If you are concerned about it, we suggest you evaluate the proportion of information you would like to disclose.
